Nonsense

'I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities.'
-Theodore Geisel (otherwise known as 'Dr. Seuss')

Ohhhhhhh. I love it! Nonsense makes the world go 'round. It really does makes you laugh. Maybe that's why I love those bubble favors at weddings: make sure you don't take life too seriously, or else you won't make it! Thanks for the delightful reminder, Marcie!
:) I always say; 'when I cannot laugh at myself anymore, I take life too serious'.
My fantasy is large, my imagination maybe even bigger, sometimes I am too serious and think too much about what can happen, Ginnie makes me realise that is impossible to look into future.
At work in breaks we often say that we should write down all the nonsense we say, we might have a bestseller, it keeps the spirits high though at rough days at the job.
When I was a kid and later with my son we blew bubbles of soap water and we would be fascinated of their colours.
Another great picture again.
Dr. Suess was such a wise man. Nonsense is quite necessary to maintain one's sanity - who wants or can be serious all the time?
I've been coming to vision and verb for a while now - it's always a treat. I smile every time I see a new post pop up in my reader.
I think nonsense is sometimes required to actually see what the truth is!
i love nonsense...i could do with a lot more nonsense in my life right now :). but am about to do something fairly nonsensical...7-day only trip to the UK early next month, at some astronomical flight cost, rather than wait until next available window, early october when i have a lot more time!!! crazy right...but i want to be in the UK for summer, and i am desperate to get out of here!!!!!!! so i'm going... (i hope) :)
forgot to say - i love the picture, is it taken with a poloroid???
I try to find something to laugh at every day, sometimes it's nonsense, sometimes it's just life itself. Yes, you have to let go, you have to play, you have to try and see the world through a child's eyes, things looks so much better from there.
oooh i love bubbles!! they make the best pictures.
and my kids remind me every day to take things one day at a time and soak up all the fun that i can.
