eliza, this is one of my favourite places. i have wonderful memories of a month lounging in essaouira during the early seventies. it was a hippie haven back then, we used to spend our mornings lounging on that old sea wall, which i assume is still there. a few years later we took another trip back to morocco and spent most of our time in fez. thanks for this great photo.
