    Two Thousand and Twelve

    "For last year’s words belong to last year’s language, And next year's words await another voice. And to make an end is to make a beginning."

    -T.S. Eliot

     * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

    Because there is power and strength in setting our intentions..in writing them down..in putting them out there and simply releasing them into the universe.

    * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

    To find out who I am and be 'that' on purpose.  - Ginnie (The Netherlands)

    To simplify. To get back to basics in hopes that it will allow my creative side to flourish. - Anyes (Canada)

    To have peace in our hearts. To have peace in our homes. To have peace in our world. - Mary (USA)

    To stay positive and grateful for all that I have. To learn something new and keep at it until I've  mastered it. No more procrastinating or discouragement. - Silvia (Italy)

    To focus on discipline  -  in food choices, exercise routine, practicing photography techniques, etc. As Aristotle says:  "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit." - Sue (USA)

    To say YES to everything!! - Eliza (Tanzania)

    To stop counting minutes, measuring days, racing for sunsets. To hold still and inhale eternity, remember what it's like to be a child, fill my days with words rather than numbers. To create space, do nothing, run with the wind in my hair, pick wildflowers by the side of the road, sit next to my mother and talk. To listen to my heartbeat. To write." - Kelly (USA)

    To remain true to myself. - Carola (USA/Germany)

    To continue my progress towards health and work. - Frida (Sweden)

    To be reminded that the years may pass so quickly, but this - this moment - is the measure of the by-and-by. - Puna (USA)

    To get out and about, to meet new people and get to know them better. - Cherry (UK)

    To get my act together. I will..I will. - Mother (USA)

    To enjoy myself in 20 twelve. - Petra (The Netherlands)

    To find inner Peace. - Jozica (Slovenia)

    To put myself out there and take more risks. To submit a query to local magazines..to send a story to a literary magazine..to do a reading at an open mike night..to join a writer's group..to do a podcast on something funnily inspiration. To sing at a karaoke bar. - Maery (USA)

    To keep my chin up..my eyes forward...to keep smiling. - Marie (USA/Australia)

    To honor the place in me that is the place in you, and when we are in that place, we are one. - Honey (USA)

    To be brave...to be authentic...to be true...to be open and honest. To dare to be the me I'm meant to be. To bravely share beauty and peace and joy and love. - Marcie (USA/Canada)

    A new year, a new start, a new beginning.
    We all have the best intentions and it is so hard to keep the best intentions over the months that follow.
    Maybe that is my goal for this year, 'try to keep myself to the best intentions I had on the 1st of January'.
    And try to treat people the way I want to be treated too, which is difficult for there are always people that think they have to get away with murder because of some bad luck they had in the past.
    What I will do is, breath in and breath out, keep smiling, count to 10 and just concentrate on myself and be friendly to all and what is in my mind, nobody has to know.
    (We were in our pj's outside at the neighbour's door, kindly requesting him to turn the load music down. His response was, that he had a very difficult year and that this was his way of expressing himself and did not have the intention to turn it down at all.... it was 1.15 A. I kindly requested him to not let it end at 3.30A as some weeks before...........) (we were surprised he did turned it down a bit and we slept great after that :) )

    Happy New Year, friends! Lots of great thought and intention to consider. Sue - "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he"... exactly where I intend to go in 2012.

    Keep it coming!

    Such inspiring intentions! And as as I read them and think, "Gee, that sounds so much better than mine" I should add to my intentions to stop comparing myself to others and follow my own path. =D
