I have a dear friend who says, "we photograph as we are," and I believe that is true for me.  As a professional for the last 20+ years, I have worked on long-term projects that touch my heart.  I photographed an Amish friend, made portraits of animal rescuers and health care aides, as well as assisted at weddings and bar mitzvahs.  I am passionate about photography, people, and telling stories through images.  Most of the time, i use medium format film cameras, because I love black-and-white film.  

I take photography seriously while viewing life with a sense of humor.
