I am never bored.  I am always driven.  In between those two I live a life that changes with my adjusted life mission.  Well, maybe the mission has always been the same, and yet different facets of my life work take precedence as I move through the decades at an alarming rate.

My favorite things in life have to do with people.  And I love to be alone.  Therefore, my life, like a good novel, has ready-made conflict.

This conflict feeds my edginess.  It keeps me on my toes as I constantly strive for purpose.  It feeds my Tse-Tse Fly mentality as I move from passion-to-passion in the moments of my life  It has taken me from freelance writing to photography to stay-at-home-Mom to business and back again.

At this point in my life I have a sense of accomplishment.  I have raised (with the constant help of my husband) children who have made me look good as a parent even when I didn’t deserve it.  I have had a successful career.  My volunteering has been rewarding.  It’s been a full life with much self-examination and little regret.

When I allow it to be, my life is comfortable. And for now I am content to write.  Through my blog, A Letter to My Children, I have found a way to express myself and to be of service at the same time.

I am blessed.
